“I think what we really go to literature for is wisdom. I mean, we want entertainment, but really we want to come through it knowing more about life.” — Barbara Kingsolver
Sometimes I feel like I’ve learned very little about this life. That’s when I find myself turning to other people’s words and images for comfort. Art entertains us, but it also helps us access our emotions, and more importantly provides support, hope, and wisdom as we try to make sense of our existence. How can you learn more from the art you experience? How can your own learnings about life drive your creativity? What do you have to SAY that can uplift others? Feel free to share in the comments!
