As I near the end of drafting my romcom, I’ve been thinking about what I want to do next, and how art imitates life. Our characters face challenges that make them grow and change, and so do we. Like many people these days, I’m questioning what my next year of income will look like. Some of that depends on what happens with this draft I’m finishing, and with another still on submission. What will the next new normal be for me? That remains to be seen. What has your normal been? What might it be next?
