Absolutely. My bubble looks like mantras and music and beauty and driving my convertible with the wind tangling my hair.

I think you are right on, Mel. People who have not found their way regularly into their bubble (or its equivalent), they and their creativity suffer. I voice similar sentiments in one of my essays titled "Alone or lonely and how we judge experiences", which I will post one day. Here a snippet from it: "It is easier to hear what comes from within, if you allow yourself at least some time daily when neither TV, radio nor computer is distracting you. If you are unaccustomed to silence, and used to having some form of background noise, that can be a challenge. Persisting can be rewarding – you get to know a more complete you than the more social, surface you. We are many-layered creatures, and each aspect is worth knowing. Balance comes when no part is neglected and all parts work in harmony. How to be alone can be developed into an artform". In your little bubble for a while the world holds no sway because there YOU are the world.
